We offer a wide and growing selection of rare French antique floor tiles

Originally gracing fine, period Maison-Maître, state buildings or in ecclesiastical settings our reclaimed and fully restored antique ceramic floors are unique and typically date between c.1850-1910. They were produced by award winning heritage manufacturers in France and Belgium, handmade in single or two tile moulds and in small batches. Their unique and exquisite designs are a triumph of the belle epoque, often influencing styles and themes of the art nouveau period. Manufactured in factories often employing thousands of workers at their peak, many of these ‘Usines’ have long since closed, though some, like Boch Freres, still operate today making fine tableware ceramics.
After carefully being lifted from their original locations they are slowly and painstakingly restored tile by tile, removing old mortar, wax and dirt so that these beautiful ceramic floors now once again reveal their original beauty.
Arriving ready to relay in your home, restaurant, café or commercial premises as well as in outdoor settings like garden pathways, conservatories, summer houses or patios their beauty will be a guaranteed conversation piece and their quality and robustness good for another 100 years or more.
